From $0 to $3K+ and Top Rated Badge
Here are some things that worked for me on Upwork as a freelance copywriter
If I say, I was afraid of Upwork, I won’t be wrong.
When I first created my account on Upwork,
I was intimidated.
With Top Rated and Top Rated Plus freelancers with $XXXK shining brightly on their profiles,
I had no chance.
No one will hear no matter how loud I shouted.
I solely relied on FREE connects and would wait for the next month to get another 10 FREE connects to apply.
This was a rather depressing, and demotivating cycle.
Until NOV 2022.
When I got my first invitation to the job,
“WITHOUT EVEN SENDING A PROPOSAL”
It was a mere $5 job…
but I crushed it.
I over-delivered and got three more projects from the same client.
That's when my digits changed from $0 to $5 and then $10 and then $20
And now I am at $3K+ and a Top Rated Badge.
The progress is slow but steady.
